MEET PEG HARBAUGH
I grew up in a family of 10 on a farm in Greeley, Iowa. My husband and I have lived in Dubuque for 12 years. We have four children; ages 2-8.
We belong to St. John's Catholic church in Peosta and I am a member of the PR Committee for United Way. I donate 3% of all my commissions directly to United Way Services, Inc. of Dubuque.
I love sports; especially basketball. I played at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on a very successful, nationally-recognized team. I earned some nice awards along the way. That experience taught me a lot about life and that it takes hard work and determination to find success.
My dad has been a real estate broker since I was a child so I have lived and breathed real estate most of my life. Honesty and determination are the attributes I deem most valuable in life as well as in real estate.
I have found business success through the satisfaction of my clients. I don’t just work for anybody, as I am not after quantity of business but quality of work. It has served me well and I have been recognized repeatedly for my real estate numbers.
There is a difference in real estate agents
As in all trades, there are major differences in real estate agents. In real estate it is valuable for you to consider these things:
- 1. You have a choice of many agents.
- 2. It may not be a good idea to list or buy with a friend or relative.
- 3. Honesty, personality, professionalism, experience and technology skills are important factors to consider when choosing who works for you.
- 4. The agent’s workload: do they have time for you? Are you important to them?
